Handheld COM Only
The A4 is Icom's most affordable avionics radio. Small
enough to comfortably fit inside a pocket, and yet the built-in
loud speaker is audible in the most noisy of cockpits. The
A4 features a rugged, die-cast aluminum chassis, and a
super-tough polycarbonate front panel. This private pilot
version of the A4 can receive and transmit in VFO mode
for on the fly channel selection. Memory channels EEPROM (non-volatile
memory) retains memory channel information if the power runs
out, or the radio is turned off. There's no need to re-enter
the settings... ever!
